    The 2015 Battle for Australia Commemorations

A really great commemoration in Sydney on 2 September 2015. Group Captain Doug Roser (Retd) the new organiser did us proud. The keynote address by our patron His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret'd), Governor of New South Wales emphasised the effort on the home front as well as the battlefield, it can be viewed below.

A Battle for Australia Commemoration on the Anniversary of the Formal ending of World War Two in the Pacific.

Was held at Fort Scratchley Parade Ground, Newcastle East

on Wednesday 2nd September 2015 at 1000.

The Fort Scratchley Mark VII 6-inch Guns will fire four rounds

The event was Hosted by the Newcastle Battle for Australia Committee.

All were welcome.
